Summer is already here and in a few weeks the students will be out of school and looking for something to do. That s where the Summer Reading Program at the Stuttgart Public Library comes in.The Summer Reading Program begins at 10 a.m. for children,longchamps, at 11 a.m. for the teens and noon for adults on Friday,Burberry Outlet Online, June 7, in the Carrie Pettit Conference Room at the Stuttgart Public Library."The theme this year is 'Dig Into Reading' for the children and Beneath The Surface for the teens, Anna Bates, assistant director of the library, said. "The theme for the adults is 'Groundbreaking Reads. "Bates said that there are also movies during the summer 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays for adults; at 2 p.m. on Wednesday for children; and at 4 p.m. Wednesday for teens."The program continues through Friday, July 26," Bates said. "There will be a Friday program on July 5, the day after Independence Day."Last year set an attendance record for the Summer Reading Program with an average of 100 children on each Friday, Bates said."The teens vary from week to week with sometimes two or up to 10 teens,monster beats," Bates said. "The adults average 12 to 16 in the Bookmarks Club."During the summer reading program,louboutin pas cher, teens volunteer with the children, creating different crafts each week. The crafts portion of the program is sponsored by businesses, individuals and clubs in the community.Bates added that children who don't read during the summer lose approximately half a year of reading level compared to the student who reads during the summer months.The Stuttgart Public Library relies on donations within the community to make the Summer Reading Program successful.All programs at the Stuttgart Public Library are free and open to the public.
